Im 16. Anlauf konnte der „Mad Men“-Darsteller den Preis als „Bester Hauptdarsteller einer Dramaserie“ erhalten. Und auch sein weibliches Pendant in der Kategorie sorgte für einen denkwürdigen Augenblick.
Viola Davis ist die erste schwarze Darstellerin, die als „Beste Hauptdarstellerin einer Dramaserie“ ausgezeichnet wurde. Den Preis erhielt die 50-Jährige für ihre Rolle in „How To Get Away With Murder“.
Die beiden „Besten Dramen-Nebendarsteller“ sind Peter Dinklage für „Game of Thrones“ und Uzo Aduba für „Orange Is The New Black“.
Im Comedy-Segment hat es, wie auch schon in den letzten Jahren, Julia Louis-Dreyfus in der Kategorie als „Beste Hauptdarstellerin“ geschafft. Jeffrey Tambor sorgte als „Bester Nebendarsteller“ für eine Premiere, da er den ersten Preis für eine von Amazon produzierte Serie abräumte. Wir gratulieren allen Gewinnern!
